Established in 2005 as a specialized unit under the esteemed Narayana Health group, the Society for Rehabilitation of Crippled Children (SRCC) in Mumbai, Maharashtra, stands as a beacon of hope for families with children facing physical challenges. We believe that every child, regardless of their physical limitations, deserves the opportunity to live a life of dignity, independence, and joy.
Our center integrates advanced medical technology with holistic therapeutic approaches, creating individualized care plans for conditions such as cerebral palsy, congenital limb deficiencies, spinal deformities, post-polio residual paralysis, and traumatic injuries. Our multidisciplinary team works collaboratively, ensuring seamless care from diagnosis through rehabilitation and long-term follow-up.
We are deeply committed to the community in Maharashtra, conducting regular outreach camps in rural and underserved areas to identify children in need and provide them with accessible care. Our Journey
2005 - Foundation
SRCC is established in Mumbai as a specialized society under the guidance of Dr. Devi Shetty, with initial focus on pediatric orthopedic corrections.
2008 - Expansion of Services
In-house Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy departments are launched. The first community screening camp is conducted in Thane district.
2012 - Integration with Narayana Health
Formal integration into the Narayana Health network, bringing in advanced surgical protocols and shared expertise.
2015 - Prosthetics & Orthotics Lab
State-of-the-art gait lab and prosthetic-orthotic fabrication facility inaugurated, allowing for custom mobility solutions.
2020 - Tele-Rehabilitation Initiative
Launch of a digital platform to provide remote consultations and therapy guidance, especially crucial during the pandemic.
2023 - Present Day
A comprehensive center treating over 1,500 new patients annually, with a robust outreach program across 15 districts of Maharashtra.
